If you want to restore database in sql server, you need to follow some simple steps to get your work done. Below is the simple steps by which you can restore database in sql server.

  1. In the Object Explorer of your SQL Server Management Studio, Right Click on Top of Databases
  2. Select Restore Database From Menu
  3. A New Window Will Be Open
  4. Select Device under Source Area
  5. Click on Browse Button Right top of the Device Dropdown
  6. A New Pop-up Window Will Be Open
  7. Click on Add
  8. Browse the Database Location
  9. Then Click Ok
  10. Click on Ok in Pop-up Window
  11. Select Files On Left Menu
  12. Check Relocate all files to folder
  13. Select Options on Left Menu
  14. Check Close existing connections to destination database
  15. Now Click Ok
  16. Done! Database Restored.
